Update: Medicaid Redesign for New York
Governor Andrew Cuomo has gathered healthcare and business leaders, including New York State Nurses Association leadership, to seek ways to reduce costs and improve the quality of care provided via the Medicaid program.
NYSNA provides the following information and resources, including recommendations on improving Medicaid, along with suggestions on how registered professional nurses can take a leadership role in providing coordinated, accessible and cost-effective care.
The Medicaid Redesign Team continues to solicit good ideas from healthcare and business leaders, healthcare professionals and the public. NYSNA encourages its members to make their voices heard to help create a high-quality Medicaid program that protects and improves the public health for ALL of New York.
