Center for Public Health Preparedness, School of Public Health, University at Albany

The mission of the University at Albany Center for Public Health Preparedness is to improve the capacity of the public health workforce in the states of New York and Vermont to respond to current and emerging public health threats with a focus on bioterrorism and infectious disease outbreaks.

T2B2 (Third Thursday Breakfast Broadcast)

New York State Association of County Health Officials (NYSACHO) is sponsoring a series of one-hour teleconferences. Their goal, along with other sponsors of the program, is to provide continuing education to county public health and social service people. The educational series is entitled T2B2 and is offered the third Thursday of each month as a breakfast broadcast from 8:00 - 9:00 am. Visit the NYSACHO Web site to learn about upcoming program topics and for the locations of a videoconference site in your area.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has expanded its version of the Spanish EPR site. The new site is organized and structured the same as the English version, and enables Spanish speakers to easily locate emergency preparedness information.
