Everything you need to participate in the NYSNA Convention
Here’s everything you need to participate in the 2013 NYSNA Convention, Oct. 16 - 18 in New York City.
- Now available: Online Registration. Here’s a registration form you can print and return to your NYSNA delegate or rep.
- Continuing Education Workshops, with detailed information and contact hours provided. You may need to print this list and show it to management in order to get the day off.
Leading up to Convention, we’re holding a series of Inter-Regional meetings, to discuss bylaws changes we’ll be voting on at Convention.
- Inter-Regional Meetings/Registration Form.
At Convention, we’ll have workshops and educational sessions on the big issues we face: electronic medical records, de-skilling, changes to our practice, the impact of the Affordable Care Act, and much more.
The NYSNA Convention is also our union’s highest decision-making body. We’ll be voting on changes to our union’s structure that will continue the changes we made at the May 17 meeting — making us a stronger, more united union.
See you at the Convention! If you have any questions, talk to your NYSNA delegate or rep.
