Welcome
District 12 was incorporated in November, 1950, and includes Dutchess and Putnam Counties. Rachel McCrimmon was elected as the first president, and the district continues to thrive. Our goal, to provide a forum for professional nurses to meet and address concerns in a cohesive, effective manner, is met during dinner programs featuring a variety of speakers who address healthcare issues.
Each year, we honor nurses within our district through our Excellence in Nurse Practice awards. Nurses are recognized for their outstanding, professional contributions in the areas of clinical practice, education and administration.
District 12 also awards a scholarship to a student planning a career in nursing.

Membership Information
Membership dues are effective from the date of application through the following August 31st.
