Registered nurse sought for Associate Director position with the nation’s oldest and largest state professional association for RNs. This position provides consultation and assistance to nurses and nursing organizations, federal and state regulatory bodies and consumer groups regarding nursing practice, legislation, and governmental affairs.
Requirements include a Master's degree in nursing, or related field. Recent clinical experience is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills are critical. Experience in developing workshops is helpful. NYSNA membership preferred.

Represent assigned local bargaining unit in all activities related to securing a collective bargaining agreement covering all matters related to employment. Review and analyze economic developments and trends in the fields of health care and labor relations and make recommendations to their assigned manager.
Negotiating and/or labor experience required. Experience with RNs/healthcare preferred. North country location preferred. Travel required. Position reports to Sr. Associate Director, Economic & General Welfare Program.
