Rotary International contacted the American Nurses Association with numerous opportunities for volunteer nurses in hospitals in Haiti. Transportation and onsite support expenses will be provided by Rotary International for all volunteers. It is likely that the deployments will be of 1 to 2 weeks duration. All specialty nursing areas of practice are being sought. Interested individuals should use the link online for initial contact. It is absolutely critical that nurses include their specialty area of practice.
In addition, ANA is working with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, who are seeking orthopaedic surgeons, orthopaedic nurses and nurse anesthetists to deploy as a team. Again, we encourage nurses who are interested in deploying to contact the ANA, using the link above.

If you are interested in being considered for this mission, please send an e-mail to the ANA. Please provide the following information:
- Name and credentials
- Contact information
- Area and number of years in clinical practice
- State license information
- Past disaster response experience
The ANA will serve as a clearinghouse for interested volunteers and will forward information on to the International Medical Corps. We will also keep your name on file as other deployment opportunities become available. Many thanks for your consideration and support.
