Join NYSNA members May 22 at 11:00 AM, at the State Capitol in Albany. We’re calling on the New York State Legislature to enact laws that will protect patients and improve working conditions. Join nurses from NYSNA, the Nurse Alliance of New York State 1199SEIU, the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) and New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) as we speak with one, strong voice for change.

Transportation will be provided from New York City to Albany (7:00 am to 4:00 pm). To reserve a bus seat, call Kirk Grisham, Community Affairs intern at 212.785.0157, ext.150.

With more than 34,000 members, NYSNA is the oldest and largest state nurses’ association in the nation. It is an influential union for RNs, representing nurses in New York and New Jersey. Offering a wide range of services to its members, NYSNA fosters high standards of nursing education and practice and works to advance the profession through legislative activity. It is a constituent of the American Nurses Association and of the United American Nurses, an affiliate of the AFL-CIO.
