A Strong Voice for Change: RNs Rally in Albany

NYSNA members rallied May 22 on the steps of the State Capitol in Albany. Calling on the New York State Legislature to enact laws that will protect patients and improve working conditions, NYSNA members were joined by nurses from NYSNA, the Nurse Alliance of New York State 1199SEIU, the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) and New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) to speak with one, strong voice for change.

With more than 34,000 members, NYSNA is the oldest and largest state nurses’ association in the nation. It is an influential union for RNs, representing nurses in New York and New Jersey.
