Claxton-Hepburn RNs cancel Thursday picket

OGDENSBURG, March 31, 2008 – Registered nurses at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center have canceled an informational picket scheduled for Thursday, April 3, from 8 to 9 p.m.

The picketing is being canceled as a show of good faith because a new negotiation session has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 9.

The 170 RNs are represented by the New York State Nurses Association. Their most recent three-year contract expired on Jan. 31.
