NYSNA has developed a plan of action to help local bargaining units (LBUs) get more immediate results from their Protest of Assignment (POA) forms.
“Many of our members have been diligent over the years in completing forms to document problems,” said Carol Lynn Esposito, associate director of NYSNA’s Economic & General Welfare (EGW) program. “But some still want to know if POAs can be used to bring about tangible progress in the short term.”
