NEW YORK NURSE: October/November 2007
“NAI? What does that mean?” “What do you do?” “Doesn’t all of NYSNA advocate for nurses?” These are comments that staff members had often heard in the Nursing Advocacy & Information (NAI) Program, from association members and non-members alike. To alleviate confusion, the program has taken on a fresh name that reflects the spectrum of the important work they do. The group is now known as the Education, Practice, and Research Program (EPR).
