NEW YORK NURSE: June 2010
Registered nurses employed by the County of Chenango in the southern tier will receive a 3% wage increase each year under a new three-year contract approved on May 12. The contract calls for an increase in the differential for working the evening shift, an increase in the uniform allowance, and increase in funding for the Staff Development Fund. The RNs will also be able to carry over more vacation time when asking for permission, and will have greater access to family sick time.
