NEW YORK NURSE: January-February 2011
Learn how to be more involved in making a difference for nursing. NYSNA’s Economic and General Welfare Program is sponsoring 10 members to attend the second annual National Federation of Nurses Labor Academy, May 14 and 15, in Chicago.
To be considered, please submit: Your name, your facility, your recent involvement in NYSNA, and an 80-word statement regarding how you would use the training to benefit your local unit and NYSNA.
The academy is exclusively for nurses in collective bargaining units from NYSNA and the state nurses associations that are members of our national union, the National Federation of Nurses. This year’s themes will be addressing violence against nurses and current labor issues.
