Be a NYSNA policy maker! Join the Delegate Assembly or its Nominating Committee

NYSNA is seeking members to fill Delegate Assembly vacancies in:

Zone 3 in Central New York
Zone 11 New Jersey

Members are also needed for the Nominating Committee:

Zone 2 in the Capital Region
Zone 3 in Central New York
Zone 11 New Jersey
The Professional Zone, which represents healthcare professionals at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, and Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead.

Terms for these seats would run through Aug. 31, 2015.

Delegate Assembly members meet four times each year, including once during the convention or biennial conference.

You only need one year of experience serving in an elected or appointed position in your LBU, such as a member of your Executive Committee, a unit or floor delegate or representative, or a member of one of your LBU committees.

But you cannot serve on both the Delegate Assembly and its Nominating Committee.
