This program will provide registered nurses and other healthcare participants information, resources, and the rationale for safe patient/resident handling. This will be the basis for developing safe patient handling programs in the healthcare environment.

Contact Hours

A total of 18.0 CH will be awarded for all three days – participants must attend all three days in order to receive contact hours.

The New York State Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
