Political and Community Organizer- Downstate

Seeking a Political Community Organizer who will recruit, train and work with members to build ties with lawmakers, community, and labor leaders to meet our shared goals and common interests. Responsibilities include building ties with outside organizations and brings them together with NYSNA grassroots efforts to advance our public policy agenda, supporting efforts of local bargaining units in building ties with community organizations and labor organizations, organizing grassroots political activities in assigned region, and more. Program Representative- Downstate

Program Representative is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the Association’s member representation and mobilization program in their assigned downstate geographic area and/or facilities.
