NYSNA Nurses Participate in Medical Missions
NYSNA nurses now have the opportunity to take part in medical missions and disaster recovery.
Participating nurses will have the opportunity to take leadership roles in communities in need of medical and disaster relief, engage in disaster response in the field, identify and train community leaders as community health workers, and establish a base of alliances for the purpose of providing continuing humanitarian efforts to underserved communities and to victims of a natural disaster.
Join us on NYSNA's medical missions, where you can become part of an interdisciplinary team and plan of action to build, sustain, and improve the capability of communities worldwide to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate disaster-related hazards.
