Expanded Absentee Voting During COVID Pandemic

New York's primary elections are being held on June 23. You can still vote in person, but to limit your exposure to COVID-19, you can request an absentee ballot. To request an absentee ballot, voters may fill out an absentee ballot application and check “temporary illness or physical disability” as the reason they are requesting an absentee ballot.

Visit your County Board of Elections website to find out if you can file for an absentee ballot electonically.

You can also download the application directly from the New York State Board of Elections website, and then submit your absentee ballot application by email, mail or fax by June 16.
