HHC/Mayorals contract ratified by 97%

Nurses voting at Kings County Hospital.

I am excited to announce that nurses from New York City’s public hospitals and Mayoral agencies have voted 97.4% to ratify our contract with HHC.

Our new contract includes 19.41% pay raises, retro pay, and no givebacks. It also includes a groundbreaking fund for child and elder care and a new training and education fund to ensure that HHC RNs have more opportunities to advance our skills – all paid for by the city. An overview of our new agreement is available here.

It’s a new day for workers in this city. Our new contract will allow us to better support our families and care for our patients.

I’m excited to continue working with you in the weeks and months ahead.

In solidarity,
Anne Bové, RN
President, NYSNA HHC/Mayorals Executive Council
