Nursing Education & Practice Confidential Administrative Assistant- Downstate

This position will report to and function under the direction of the Director of Nursing Education and Practice. The Confidential Administrative Assistant will provide confidential administrative support to the Director, Nursing Education and Practice and NYSNA’s Senior Leadership. General responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with materials and logistics for written reports to the NYSNA Board of Directors, participating in the planning of educational programs, functioning as a Provider Unit database analyst and more. Political and Community Organizer- Downstate

Seeking a Political Community Organizer who will recruit, train and work with members to build ties with lawmakers, community, and labor leaders to meet our shared goals and common interests. Responsibilities include building ties with outside organizations and brings them together with NYSNA grassroots efforts to advance our public policy agenda, supporting efforts of local bargaining units in building ties with community organizations and labor organizations, organizing grassroots political activities in assigned region, and more. Program Representative- Downstate

Program Representative is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the Association’s member representation and mobilization program in their assigned downstate geographic area and/or facilities.
