Speak out for healthcare for all

State Senator Bill Perkins speaks to the NYSNA Biennial Convention about New York Health, a bill he and State Assembly Health Chair Dick Gottfried are sponsoring to create a single-payer system in our state.

New York lawmakers are holding six hearings across the state about a bill that would ensure healthcare for all New Yorkers.

Assembly Health Committee Chair Richard Gottfried and State Senator Bill Perkins are proposing a bill to create a single-payer healthcare system for New York State. Under a single-payer system, everyone is guaranteed equal access to quality healthcare.
