NYSNA has issued new guidelines on Ebola preparedness. The NYS Department of Health has mandated that Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for healthcare worker protection be followed in New York State. However, these are minimal levels of protection and may not be adequate. NYSNA urges all healthcare facilities to adopt optimal protective standards.
