Incredible work by the UTLA in winning an incredible contract for their members and students. After an unbelievably strong strike, teachers and their communities stood together to provide an example to all working people.

In addition to pay raises and reduced class sizes, these educators held the line with no takeaways. One of the provisions that New York State Nurses Association can really appreciate is that every school will have a nurse five days a week.
