NYSNA Nurses at AMC Hold Forum

On July 31st, Albany Medical Center nurses held a forum with fellow NYSNA members, elected officials and allies from across the state to discuss concerns that could affect patient care and let AMC management know NYSNA nurses won't give up until they win a fair contract. Joining the forum in a show of solidarity were Assemblymembers Carrie Woerner and Phil Steck, along with representatives from unions such as the New York State AFL-CIO, SEIU 1199 and the International Association of Fire Fighters. The event was widely covered by outlets such as the Times Union, ABC 10, and Spectrum News.
