At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of Medical-Surgical nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of practice related to Pain Management and apply this to selected situations occurring in pain management. Participants will also identify they are more prepared to take the Pain Management certification examination.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to apply current standards of care in Pediatric Emergency Nursing to selected situations, in accordance with the PCEN standards of care for emergency nursing.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to correctly identify three selected cardiac rhythms.

At the conclusion of this program, nurses working with patients at the bedside and other healthcare settings will be able to identify best practice in medication administration and safe medication administration practice.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to correctly identify appropriate nursing interventions for selected patient care situations in the operating room based on current standards of care.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to apply current standards of care in PACU nursing to selected situations, in accordance with the ASPAN standards of care for PACU nursing.
