NYSNA Board of Directors Statement on the Crisis in the Middle East

The NYSNA Board of Directors released the following statement on the crisis in the Middle East: 

NYSNA reiterates our call for an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the West Bank and the release of all hostages. We urge all parties to commit to peace negotiations and the protection and resettlement of civilians in accordance with international law. The U.S. recently suspended all funding for international humanitarian aid, including food and medical relief to victims of war and armed conflict. We call for the U.S. to also immediately suspend the use of our tax dollars for weapons of war.
