NURSES TO PICKET FOR SAFE PATIENT CARE AT NYACK HOSPITAL
                                                   
Nyack – Nurses at Nyack Hospital are being forced to take on 9, 10, or more patients at a time - that's not safe for our patients. At Noon on Monday, December 2, NYSNA RNs will picket the hospital for guaranteed safe minimum staffing levels for all patients at the hospital.
 
What: Picket for safe staffing levels and quality patient care.

Background: 
 
* Nyack is a vital community hospital that served more than 72,000 patients in 2011. 
 
* In 2011, Nyack Hospital CEO David H. Freed made $712,000.  
 
* NYSNA RNs are calling for a new contract that guarantees safe minimum staffing levels for patients.
