ON MAY DAY, LABOR RALLIES AGAINST ATTACKS ON WORKERS AND HEALTHCARE

Workers from NYSNA, PEF, SEIU Local 200 and CDALF to rally and march against recent attacks on workers’ rights and healthcare.  

Albany, N.Y. - On Thursday, May 1, members of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA), Public Employees Federation (PEF), SEIU Local 200, and the Capital District Area Labor Federation (CDALF) will be joined by labor and community allies in a march to the Veterans Affairs office to commemorate International Workers Day. Together, they will protest federal cuts to jobs, healthcare, and other important social services, as well as recent attacks on workers’ rights. They will speak out in support of nurses and all workers.
