NYS “COVID time” allows for paid time off for medical removal from work due to COVID isolation or quarantine.* It also provides job protection so that an employee can return to their job when they are no longer subject to medical removal. 

Nurses working in the state of New York have several options for fully-paid or partially paid leave to cover work time missed due to COVID-19 infection or COVID-19 quarantine.
