NEW: Life Insurance from MetLife
Starting Aug. 1, 2024, NYSNA members have a new benefit at no cost to you: Basic term life insurance and basic personal accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) coverage in the amount of $20,000 from MetLife.
All active members in good standing represented for collective bargaining through the union will automatically be enrolled in the plan. This union benefit is in addition to any other insurance provided by your benefits fund, your contract, or through your employer.
But for your loved ones to receive this benefit, you must designate them as a beneficiary!
