Nursing Practice

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to apply current standards of care in case management nursing to selected situations, in accordance with the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), standards of care for case management nursing.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of cardiac surgery nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to identify current standards of Medical-Surgical nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of practice related to Pain Management and apply this to selected situations occurring in pain management. Participants will also identify they are more prepared to take the Pain Management certification examination.

At the conclusion of this program, nurses working with patients at the bedside and other healthcare settings will be able to identify best practice in medication administration and safe medication administration practice.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will demonstrate knowledge of best practices for safe medication preparation and delivery to reduce the likelihood of committing medication administration errors.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to identify current standards of Infection Control and Prevention in nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.
