At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to correctly identify appropriate nursing interventions for selected patient care situations in the operating room based on current standards of care.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to apply current standards of care in PACU nursing to selected situations, in accordance with the ASPAN standards of care for PACU nursing.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to identify current standards of Ambulatory Nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions within their practice.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of cardiac surgery nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to successfully identify the current standards of practice for correction registered nurses and apply them to selected situations.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of practice related to Pain Management and apply this to selected situations occurring in pain management. Participants will also identify they are more prepared to take the Pain Management certification examination.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify the skills needed to incorporate palliative care into their practice.
