At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to apply current standards of care in maternal newborn nursing to selected situations, in accordance with the NCC standards of care for maternal newborn nursing.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to discuss current practice and the role of the nurse in trauma care nursing.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to correctly identify appropriate nursing interventions for selected patient care situations in the perioperative area based on current standards of care.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to apply current standards of care in case management nursing to selected situations, in accordance with the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), standards of care for case management nursing.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of cardiac surgery nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to identify current standards of Medical-Surgical nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of practice related to Pain Management and apply this to selected situations occurring in pain management. Participants will also identify they are more prepared to take the Pain Management certification examination.
