During times of widespread disaster, whether natural, industrial, or man-made, nurses are first-line respondents. They contribute professionally and personally for patients around the world. Disaster nursing and nurses are critical to the success of community and population recovery. PLEASE NOTE: only nurses who are registered, approved, and attending a medical mission can engage in the corresponding educational program. When you register for one of these educational programs, you are not registered for the medical mission. You must register first for the medical mission separately. To register for a medical mission, please visit the NYRN page. NYSNA and the New York Relief Network (NYRN) are pleased to announce the new 2023 Medical Mission Calendar and corresponding 10 CH/1.0 CEU educational program, Preparing Nurses to Successfully Participate in a Short-Term Medical Mission. To register for a medical mission's corresponding educational program, please visit the NYRN page. We continue to monitor conditions here and abroad, and will provide updates as they become available. We are happy to be resuming NYRN’s important work, and to all of you joining us as we bring the compassion, care, and expertise of NYSNA nurses to where they are most needed around the world.
