This workshop is open to new NYSNA members and Convention Delegates looking to get more involved in the work of the union.

At the conclusion of this program, nurses working with patients at the bedside and other healthcare settings will be able to identify best practice in medication administration and safe medication administration practice.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will demonstrate knowledge of best practices for safe medication preparation and delivery to reduce the likelihood of committing medication administration errors.

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to identify current standards of Infection Control and Prevention in nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of Oncology nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.
