Coalition to #SaveInterfaith to Hold #Thankful4Interfaith “Winter Wonderland” Toy Drive

(Brooklyn) Tomorrow, beginning at 10am and continuing all day, the Coalition to Save Interfaith will be expressing our thanks for Interfaith Medical Center and providing hundreds of neighborhood kids with toys and the opportunity to take photos with Santa Claus. At noon, there will be a press conference.

Who: New York State Nurses Association, 1199/SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, Interfaith Medical Center Community Advisory Board, Brooklyn Community Board 3

What: “Winter Wonderland” to express thankfulness for Interfaith Medical Center, including toy distribution to hundreds of neighborhood kids, Santa Claus photo opportunities, and a press conference to save Interfaith

Where: Interfaith Medical Center, 1545 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn

When: Tomorrow, December 18th, beginning at 10am, going all day. Press conference at noon.

Ellis Medicine: Restore Surgical Services at Bellevue Woman's Center!

On Friday, Aug. 22, Ellis Medicine closed a number of units and most surgical services at Bellevue Woman's Center. Despite initially announcing these cuts would take place in December, Ellis dramatically moved up the timeline, leaving the community with little time to respond and making it harder to access essential maternal and child health services.
