NEW YORK, NY Members of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) will join with labor and community allies at the Working People’s Day of Action on Saturday, February 24 at 11:00AM at Foley Square, 111 Worth Street, NYC.

Working people from across the country are turning out to call for affordable healthcare, equitable pay and strong unions. We are demanding a secure future for all.

“New York nurses know that having strong unions is critical to our ability to advocate for our patients,” said Judith Cutchin, RN and President, NYSNA’s Health + Hospitals/Mayorals Executive Council, representing 8,500 RNs in NYC’s public hospital system. “Working people rely on unions to set standards for wages and living conditions in the nation. This is the time for solidarity.”

Cutchin will speak at the NYC rally.
