Learn how to build a worksite campaign, what labor-management meetings involve and how to best organize (hint: use the campaign tools!) to win our demands through our labor-management meetings.

As we get more involved in the work of the union, we realize the importance of building power by engaging our coworkers. Join us for this 90 minute online workshop to learn about ways to spread the word about union actions, have effective conversations, and develop good listening skills.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to apply current standards of care in Emergency Nursing to selected situations, in accordance with the BCEN standards of care for emergency nursing.

At the conclusion of this program, nurses as part of a functional nursing team, will master clear and structured communication, thoughtful delegation, active supervision, accountability and collaborative leadership.  Through mastery of these concepts, they will empower themselves and other team members to efficiently share responsibilities while maintaining safety and enhancing patient outcomes.

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to identify current standards of Medical-Surgical nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.
