SPECIAL GUEST OF THE DAY: MR MONEYBAGS WHO SAYS, “NORTHWELL HEALTH SHOULD RE- INVEST IN HEALTHCARE FOR STATEN ISLAND RESIDENTS INSTEAD OF GIVING BIG PAYOUTS TO ITS EXECUTIVES WHO LIVE OFF-ISLAND”

Staten Island, NY --- Members of the New York State Nurses Association will picket Staten Island University Hospital today, Wednesday February 28th. Among other things, nurses are asking for:

  • Safe staffing levels that residents of Staten Island deserve.

  • A voice for all nurses on issues such as patient care and workplace safety.

  • Retiree health security.

Members will be joined by Mr. Moneybags who has a very clear message: Northwell Health must re-invest its profits into the people of Staten Island instead of giving payouts to its executives who live Off-Island.
