Using the Convention Website

The convention is hosted on a special website, and you must set up a Username and Password in order to participate.

Setting your convention password

You must set your Password by Monday, Oct. 19 at 3:00 PM in order to guarantee your participation.

Only already registered attendees can set up a username and password. Your username will be the e-mail we have on file for you. You will also need to know your NYSNA Member ID.

The password you set must be at least 8 characters long and include an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, a number, and a punctuation mark.

Please note: when you set your password, you will also be asked for your phone number. If you are a delegate and ask to speak at the convention, this is the number that we will call you to connect you to the live broadcast. You must provide a number that you will be able to answer during the convention.

Make sure you can log into the platform

After you set your password, go to https://nysna.onlineevent.com/ and make sure you can log in.

If you are using an iPad, iPhone, or Mac to view the Convention, you may need to change some settings in your browser. You can find instructions for doing that here. See detailed instructions for Apple devices below.

We highly recommend that you plan to attend the Convention using a laptop or tablet.

If you run into any problems, e-mail ConventionHelp@nysna.org and someone will reach out to assist you.

Attend a demo session

We have two demo sessions where you can try out using the Convention website:

  • Sunday, Oct. 18, 6:30 – 7:30 PM
  • Monday, Oct. 19, 9:00 - 10:00 AM

To attend a demo, go to https://nysna.onlineevent.com/, log in using your username and password, and click “Live Broadcast.”
