CUNY Faculty Union Rallies for Fair Contract

NYSNA stands in solidarity with the Professional Staff Congress, CUNY's faculty and staff union, as they fight for their rights and demand a fair contract! The leaders from PSC, which represents more than 30,000 full-time and adjunct faculty and staff, blocked the main entrance of Baruch College this week, hoping to put pressure on city and state leaders for funding for faculty and staff competitive salaries as well as raise the pay for adjuncts. Union representatives have found that at least 12,000 adjuncts in the system receive a near-poverty wage. Read the full story here.
